Webinar: Making the Most of Your Interactive Whiteboard

The webinar will give an overview of the effective use of interactive whiteboards and other interactive technologies within the Primary and Secondary classroom. Diana will explore the structure of lessons using the interactive whiteboard and identify some of the key issues that practitioners need to address when developing and delivering their lesson materials. Diana will identify some key websites for you to visit and share some techniques that you could try within your classroom.

This webinar provides an opportunity to ask questions. If you have questions prior to the webinar you would like to be addressed, please post them in this forum or send them directly to DianaBannister@wlv.ac.uk if you have particular ideas that you would like Diana to discuss.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday March 28th 16:00 – 17:00hrs (CET) We will use the Elluminate virtual platform. You do not need access to an interactive whiteboard to be able to take part in this session.

The presentation will be made by Diana Bannister who is the Development Director for Learning Technologies based in the School for Education Futures, University of Wolverhampton. Diana has much experience of using interactive technology in the classroom. In 2010, Diana led the EuSCRIBE project across four countries and developed the guidelines: Making the Most of Your Interactive Whiteboard. This is now available in five languages free from the EUN website.

Interactive Whiteboards are really very useful in education and in hospital. They save a lot of time of the teachers and students.
